From Sheep to Sugar / Brethyn Cymraig 

as originally called:  Welsh Plains / Negro Cloth

The Learning Links International team originally started to explore the story of the production of woollen cloth in Mid Wales in 2017. Then in 2019 we were successful with our application for National Lottery Heritage funding to progress this research and to tell the story of this important shared history and the use of handwoven Welsh cloth to clothe enslaved plantation workers.
